Pregnancy Massage
Relaxing And Revitalising Your Body
Pregnancy massage has many benefits, from relieving aches and pains, reducing stress to simply relaxing and revitalising your body which is working hard to provide a safe environment for your unborn baby.
Massage in pregnancy can help:
- reduce symptoms and pain from Pelvic instability, PGP
- reduce swelling in your arms or legs
- increase your energy levels
- improve your sleep
- reduce and manage sciatic pain
- reduce back pain
- improve low mood, reduce depression and anxiety
- improve restless legs or leg cramps
…and much more.
If you are suffering from anything in particular and wonder if massage might be able to help, do get in touch to discuss.
There are times when a massage is not recommended during pregnancy and on occasion you may need to have a chat with your midwife first but we will discuss this prior to your appointment and I will advise what is safe for you and your unborn baby.
You will lie on your side for the massage, and I use cushions and pillows and work with you to find a comfortable position for you so you can relax throughout the appointment.
Choose between 60- and 90-minute appointments in the comfort of your own home.
I will tailor your appointment to suit your specific needs and we will discuss these prior to the massage.
